I seem to be making some progress but am still concerned about the privacy of this blog. So far I've switched off 3 items in the blog

in settings, basic, Add your Blog to our listings? no
in settings,publishing Notify Weblogs.com ? no
in settings, site feed Publish Site Feed? no

and from blogger dashboard, I've edited my profile to stop information being shared

I've just changed one of the settings under site feed to say no to publish site feed. I'll now check whether this has any effect

I appear to have created a blog...

but to prevent it being listed then I have ticked or rather not ticked two boxes. One was in my profile where I removed the tick in the shared box. The other was an listings option in settings which I declined

As a result of an article by Victor Keegan in the Guardian (www.guardian.co.uk) I've started this blog. I had been thinking about encouraging students to use one as an easy way of keeping a project log, so in preparation of demonstrating it, I thought I ought to try it out.
